Finance

The real margin of every site, month by month

CERP's Finance module collects each site's expenses, runs them through an approval cycle and builds the project's cash flow: receipts and payments month by month, real margin against projected margin and direct cost control.

What it does

  • Expenses linked to a project and site, with an approval cycle
  • Expense and purchase report by project and task, with date and document filters
  • Cash flow per project: receipts and payments month by month
  • Real margin against projected margin
  • Approved purchase orders, construction orders and other expenses reflected in the forecast
  • Price indices to compare costs in inflation-adjusted values

Frequently asked questions about Finance

Where does the cash flow data come from?

From purchase orders when approved, from construction orders (projected and real cost) and from the project's other expenses. It is set up once (sale value, cost, duration and payment terms) and Recalculate refreshes it with the latest data.

Can I see the margin of a site in progress?

Yes. The cash flow shows the real margin with the projected one as reference, and the cost centre breaks spend down by task and order.

Does it work with high inflation?

With price indices enabled, CERP compares planned and real cost in values updated month by month.
